Privacy policy
Pulse is a team messaging and collaboration app operated by Charles Gaudreau Jackson. This policy explains the information used to provide the service and how to contact us about it.
Information we use
We process account details such as your email address, display name and authentication information; workspace memberships; messages, reactions, response requests and uploaded files; automation settings; and subscription status. Technical information such as IP addresses, request logs and device or browser details may be processed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
The desktop app stores session information and unsent drafts locally. Its session and draft storage uses the operating system’s secure storage facilities. This is not a claim that workspace messages are end-to-end encrypted.
Signing in with Google
Google sign-in is optional. It supplies basic identity information, including your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile image, to authenticate your Pulse account through Supabase. Pulse does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar or your contacts.
We use Google identity information for account authentication and profile identification, not advertising or training AI models. You can revoke Pulse’s Google connection in your Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking that connection does not by itself delete your Pulse account or workspace content; contact us for deletion requests.
Workspace access and administrators
Messages and attachments are made available according to workspace and channel membership. Private channels restrict access to their members. Workspace administrators manage membership, billing and enabled features. Pulse’s response-request and review views use authorized workspace content; they do not provide a universal employee score or automatically impose disciplinary decisions.
Your employer or workspace administrator may have its own policies about workplace content. Contact that administrator about workspace-specific access and retention decisions.
Optional AI and automations
AI is controlled by workspace settings. When an authorized user asks for an AI result, or activates an approved AI automation, relevant authorized context may be sent to the configured provider, OpenAI or Cloudflare Workers AI. Scheduled summaries run on their approved schedule. Requests are bounded; Pulse does not send every message for background employee scoring.
AI output can be inaccurate. Review its source messages and context before relying on it. We do not use Google sign-in identity data to train AI or for advertising. Provider processing and retention depend on the provider and service configuration; we do not promise zero retention or that all processing stays in Canada.
Service providers and payments
Supabase provides authentication, database and private attachment storage. Cloudflare provides website, download and edge infrastructure and may provide AI processing. Stripe processes payments and subscriptions. Resend delivers account emails. Google provides optional sign-in; OpenAI provides AI processing when configured. These providers receive the information needed for their functions.
Payment-card details are entered into Stripe’s hosted payment interfaces; Pulse uses customer and subscription identifiers and payment status. Information may be processed outside your province or country. We do not sell your Google identity information or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention, access and deletion
Account and workspace information is retained to provide the service and support security, billing and legal obligations. Retention differs by data type and provider; we do not promise a single fixed deletion period. Backups and records required for accounting or legal purposes may remain after an account request.
To request access, correction or deletion, email charles@predictive.company. We may verify your identity and workspace authority before acting. Removing an account does not necessarily remove messages that belong to a shared workspace; we will explain applicable limits when responding. You may also contact us to raise a privacy concern or withdraw consent where applicable.
Local storage and service operation
Pulse uses storage necessary for sign-in, preferences and drafts. Website and infrastructure providers may process operational logs for security and delivery. This policy does not authorize optional advertising tracking.
